Monica Perez Garcés had big plans for her life in the United States before she was forced to move back to her hometown of Tenancingo, Mexico.Upon returning home, Monica brought back with her new experiences and a new obsession: American football.

- Monica and her team, the JagerBombs, practice three times a week usually from 6 to 7 p.m.
- Monica is motivated and is usually the first to arrive to practice. She also calls any team members that are late and tries to organize everyone to be there on time.
- The team practices rain or shine, in hopes to improve their skills for the games.
- Monica is the leader of the team. She uses her wit to unite the women to get results.
- Monica collaborates with her coach on strategies for the team.
- She is in constant communication with her teammates and has a good relationship with them. They usually can be found eating dinner together after practice.
- In the end, every run and every drop of sweat is an indicator of the joy Monica gets from the sport in Tenancingo.
